PMAY Gramin

To be eligible for PMAY Gramin, the applicant should meet the following criteria:Income Category: The applicant should belong to one of the following income categories:Economically Weaker Section (EWS): Annual household income of up to Rs. 1.5 lakhs
Low-Income Group (LIG): Annual household income between Rs. 1.5 lakhs to Rs. 3 lakhs

Property Ownership: The applicant or any member of their family should not own a pucca house (an all-weather dwelling unit) anywhere in India.


Location: The applicant should be willing to purchase or construct a house in the selected locations under PMAY-G.

Documents Required for PMAY

To apply for PMAY, the following documents are required:Aadhaar Card: The applicant and all adult family members need to provide their Aadhaar number.
Income Proof: Salary slips, income tax returns, or any other document that can verify the applicant's income.
Address Proof: Voter ID card, Aadhaar card, or any other document that can verify the applicant's address.
Bank Account Details: A canceled cheque or bank statement that contains the applicant's name, account number, and IFSC code.
Property Papers: In case of a property purchase, the applicant needs to provide the property papers.
